1. Introduction
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) set out the terms which govern the Air Miles Programme. By joining the Air Miles Programme, Members agree to be bound by these Terms.  The Air Miles Programme is run and operated by Aimia Middle East FZ-LLC, a Free Zone company incorporated in Dubai, United Arab Emirates that is part of the Kognitiv group of companies, with trade license number 19291 and whose registered office is at 204, Building 15, Dubai Internet City, Dubai.  

Under the Air Miles Programme, Members may collect and redeem Air Miles as described in these Term. Participating Air Miles partners may be found on the Air Miles Mobile App or online at www.airmilesme.com.

In these Terms:
  • we” or “us” “our” means Aimia Middle East FZ –LLC,
  • you” or “your” means the individual Member or individual who is applying to become a Member.
  • Member” means a member of the Air Miles Programme.
  • Site “means the Air Miles Website and/or the Air Miles Mobile App.
  • Air Miles Website” means the Air Miles Programme Website currently at www.airmilesme.com and any successor site.
  • Air Miles Mobile App” means the Air Miles Programme mobile application available via Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Air Miles Travel Shop” means the online Air Miles travel rewards platform that includes flight tickets, hotel stays, car rentals and activities. These travel rewards can only be redeemed online at airmilesme.com.
  • Customer Service Centre” means the Air Miles Programme customer service centre available via phone, email or chat.
These Terms refer to the following additional terms, which also govern your membership in the Air Miles Program and apply to your use of the Air Miles Mobile App and the Air Miles Website:
  • Our Privacy Policy, that explains how we collect, use, disclose and otherwise process personal information, available here.
  • Our Term of Use that governs your use of the Site, available here.
  • Our Cookie Policy that sets out information about the cookies on our Site, available here.
2. Membership
Becoming a Member
Air Miles is free to join. You can become an Air Miles Member by downloading the Air Miles Mobile App and joining the Air Miles Programme.  To be eligible to join the Air Miles Programme you must be an individual who is 18 years or over and a resident of the UAE, Qatar or Bahrain.
Termination of Membership
Should any of the following events occur, we reserve the right at our sole discretion to terminate your membership and revoke any accrued Air Miles:
  • You fail to comply with these terms and conditions.
  • You supply false or misleading information to us or our partners.
  • You abuse or misuse any membership privileges of the Air Miles Programme.
  • You are involved in any act of fraud, theft or dishonesty.
  • On your death or in the case of a Household account the death of the Primary Household Member.
  • On your bankruptcy or in the case of a Household account the bankruptcy of the Primary Household Member.
Keeping Member information up to date
You must ensure that your contact details are kept updated (e.g., your email address and mobile number). To update your email address, you will need to contact the Customer Service Centre. All other personal contact details can be updated via the Air Miles Mobile App. Updated contact details will ensure that you receive notifications and communications about the Air Miles Programme and your account. We may contact you by email using your registered email address or by posting notices on the Air Miles Mobile App.
Password and security
You must keep your password secure and should not disclose this to anyone else. If you know or suspect that your password has been stolen or compromised or that anyone other than you knows your user ID or password, you should notify the Customer Service Centre and change your password on your Air Miles Account as soon as possible.
Household Account
A group of Members may pool their individual Air Miles together and nominate one of the Members as the primary Household Member while everyone else is referred to as secondary Household Member.  Primary Household Members are responsible for the account along with the maintenance of the account.  Once householded, all individual Members will still be able to earn through the Air Miles Mobile App. However, redemption of Air Miles may only be made by the Primary Household Member. 
3. Collecting Air Miles
To collect Air Miles, you must present your membership number at participating partner outlets before every transaction. Your membership number is displayed on the Air Miles Mobile App. Selected partners may allow you to collect Air Miles for telephone or internet purchases, please ensure that you check with the chosen partner before placing your order.  In these instances, you must quote your Air Miles membership number at the time of ordering upon confirming eligibility with the partner. Issuance of Air Miles in all scenarios is at our partners’ discretion.
  If you do not present your membership number via the Air Miles Mobile App at the time of purchase you will not be awarded Air Miles for that purchase.  Air Miles will not be awarded retrospectively for any purchase.
  You can view a detailed account statement on the Air Miles Mobile App. Air Miles will normally be credited to your account within 45 days of your transaction. If you see any discrepancies in your Air Miles statement, please contact our Customer Service Centre.
For Members who have an eligible HSBC credit card:
You will be automatically enrolled into the Air Miles programme if you have an eligible HSBC credit card, (please refer to HSBC for details on their Credit Cards that are eligible for Air Miles). You may collect Air Miles when you use your HSBC credit card for retail purchases, anywhere in the world. You may be able collect Air Miles twice for the same transaction by using your HSBC credit card along with the Air Miles Mobile app at participating Air Miles partners.
Your Air Miles balance will be shown on your HSBC credit card statement.  For more details on HSBC Credit Card Terms and Conditions please contact HSBC directly.
4. Personal Information
For details regarding how we use your personal information please see our privacy policy available via the Air Miles Mobile App or online at www.airmilesme.com.
5. General
We reserve the right at any time and without prior notice:
  • To change these terms and conditions, the qualifying goods and services, the reward portfolio, value proposition and our partners. Such changes will take effect from the date they are posted on the Air Miles Mobile App or www.airmilesme.com. By continuing with your membership after the date such changes are posted you agree to these changes.
  • To suspend or terminate the Air Miles programme.
  • To suspend or remove any Rewards.
  • To modify, suspend or remove the Air Miles Application and the Air Miles Website.
You can access your Air Miles account on the Air Miles Mobile App to keep track of your account activity.

Air Miles have no monetary value and cannot be sold, transferred or otherwise dealt with except in accordance with these terms and conditions.

All exclusions and limitations of liability in these terms and conditions apply to us and our partners and reward providers.

Partners and reward providers do not have any authority, expressed or implied, to make any representation or warranty on our behalf.

We shall not be liable to any Member for any financial loss arising out of the refusal, cancellation or withdrawal of any reward, or any failure or inability of a Member to redeem a reward. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the theft, forgery or misuse of Air Miles, or as a result of any criminal act by a Member.

We shall not be liable for any unlawful use or misuse of your Air Miles Membership. Member remains liable for any loss or damage caused as a result of any loss, theft or misuse of Member’s Air Miles account or key tag including as a result of any unauthorised access by any third party to the Member’s mobile phone.

We shall not be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, resulting from termination or change of, either the Air Miles Programme or any of the services, rewards or benefits which are made available to Members under the Air Miles Programme, including, without limitation, any withdrawal of partner programmes or the withdrawal or changes in any such services, rewards or benefits.
6. Transfer of Air Miles
Air Miles are personal to your Air Miles account.  Any transfer Air Miles to other Members may be performed only by contacting the Customer Service Centre.
7. Air Miles Expiry
Air Miles are valid for 36 months from the date they are earned, after which Air Miles will expire, unless a Member’s account becomes inactive. Please refer to the Inactive account Air Miles expiry clause below. Members can check how many Air Miles are due to expire by logging into their Air Miles account using the Air Miles Mobile App. E-statements are sent to Members’ on a monthly basis. This statement provides details on account activity including any Air Miles that are due to expire.
Inactive Account Air Miles Expiry
If a Member does not use their Account to collect or redeem Air Miles in a 15-month period, then all Air Miles in the account will expire.

Members can keep their Air Miles account active by:
  • Having a minimum of one Air Miles “collect” transaction every 15 months; or
  • Having a minimum of one Air Miles “redemption” transaction every 15 months.

8. Rewards Terms and Conditions
Air Miles will maintain a rewards catalogue with a selection of e-vouchers (redemption codes sent via e-mail), m-vouchers (redemption vouchers made available through the Air Miles Mobile App), travel offers, competitions and more.  Active Members can redeem through the Air Miles Mobile App, or at select Air Miles partner stores. 

To redeem rewards using the Air Miles Mobile App, Members must be logged into their Air Miles account to be able to select their chosen reward and complete the redemption.  Once redeemed, rewards can be issued or gifted to any person of the Member's choice.  The Member does not have to be present when the reward is used in-store, online or for travel related bookings.
It is the Members responsibility to ensure their personal details are up to date in their Air Miles account.

Reward options may be withdrawn or amended without prior notice.

Rewards prices may be amended at any time.

Rewards are subject to partner restrictions at the time of redemption.

At the time of redemption, the Air Miles balance must be at least equal to the total Air Miles value of the reward being redeemed. For travel related redemptions made with a combination of Air Miles + money, the monetary amount must be paid via a credit card at the time of redemption.

Air Miles will automatically be deducted from the Member’s account at the time of redemption. Upon redemption, the Air Miles Member will directly enter a sale / purchase relationship with the supplier of the Air Miles rewards, Aimia acts only as an agent for the redemption of Air Miles. 

Members agree that Air Miles can pass their name, account number, address / email address and contact number to the relevant reward supplier where required for them to fulfill the redemption. Air Miles rewards can only be redeemed by the Air Miles Member in the UAE, Bahrain or Qatar.

We reserve the right to pursue all available legal and equitable remedies and/or actions against you in respect of any misuse of or any fraudulent activity on your account and for any rewards or benefits provided to you.
9. In-Store Rewards
To use your Air Miles in participating partner stores, you must present your Air Miles Membership number which is found in the Air Miles Mobile App or on your key tag to the cashier at the point of sale. The store will activate a one-time pin (OTP) which will be sent to your registered Mobile device.  You will need to give the OTP to the cashier to validate your Air Miles account to complete your redemption. If your purchase in-store exceeds the value of the Air Miles you want to redeem, then you can pay the balance amount using cash or a credit card. Air Miles partners’ standard terms and conditions also apply for redemptions in-store. For more information on Air Miles partners’ rewards terms & conditions please refer to the participating partner reward  on the Air Miles Mobile App.

As well as directly redeeming your Air Miles in store to purchase goods, you can also use e-vouchers and m-vouchers in-store that you have already redeemed  by using the Air Miles Mobile App.

To use e-vouchers at any of the Air Miles partner stores you must present the e-voucher(s) at point of sale.  The participating store will use the e-voucher code presented on the e-voucher to confirm validity and value of the e-voucher(s) in use.

To use m-vouchers at any of the Air Miles partners, you must present your Mobile m-voucher found in ‘My Vouchers’ within the Air Miles Mobile App to the cashier at the point of sale.  The cashier will input a unique PIN code on your Mobile device to confirm the validity and value of the voucher in use.
10. Online & Mobile App Non-Travel Rewards
To use your Air Miles to redeem for e-vouchers or m-vouchers for non-travel rewards, the following terms apply:

Members can redeem for e-vouchers via the Air Miles Mobile App.  Members must be logged in to their Air Miles account to select and redeem for e-voucher rewards.  When a Member redeems for an e-voucher the voucher will be emailed to the Member’s email address in their Air Miles account.  e-vouchers need to be presented at point of sale with the applicable participating Air Miles partner store.

For M-vouchers, Members must download the Air Miles Mobile App to redeem these vouchers.  Members must be logged in to their Air Miles account using the Air Miles Mobile App to select and redeem m-voucher rewards.  When a Member redeems an m-voucher it will appear in the ‘My Vouchers’ section on the Air Miles Mobile App. Members need to present their m-voucher on their Mobile device at the applicable Air Miles partner store.
  • e-vouchers / m-vouchers are issued by Kognitiv for use at the specified reward provider.
  • e-vouchers / m-vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date issued as shown on the e-voucher / m-voucher, unless detailed otherwise, and are not valid beyond this date.
  • e-vouchers / m-vouchers with a monetary value can be used as part payment. If the price of the purchase exceeds this value, the balance must be paid upon purchase. If the price of the purchase is less than the value of the e-vouchers, no change or credit will be given.
  • e-vouchers / m-vouchers are not valid for online purchases unless specified.
  • e-vouchers / m-vouchers can only be used for a single transaction.
  • Multiple e-vouchers / m-vouchers can be used for a single transaction, unless otherwise stated in the individual partner reward T&Cs.
  • e-vouchers / m-vouchers can be used in conjunction with other offers or promotions, unless otherwise stated in the terms and conditions of the offer or promotion.
  • e-vouchers/ m-vouchers may not be applicable for certain goods or services. Please check with the reward provider for any exclusions.
  • Partners have the right to reject any e-voucher that they believe have been tampered with or found in any way unacceptable.  
  • e-vouchers/ m-vouchers are non-cancellable and non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for Air Miles, cash or other rewards, nor sold or transferred for value.
  • Aimia or the reward provider are not responsible if e-vouchers/ m-vouchers are lost, stolen or used without permission. e-vouchers will be sent via email only. M-vouchers can be viewed in the Air Miles Mobile App under ‘My Vouchers’.
  • Vouchers remain the property of Aimia.
  • The goods or services purchased using e-vouchers/ m-vouchers are the responsibility of the rewards provider and not Air Miles.
  • Reward provider standard terms and conditions also apply.
  • e-vouchers / m-vouchers may not be redeemable on promotions or other concessions within certain reward providers participating retail outlets.
  • Aimia reserves the right to act, in its sole discretion as it should see fit, should an attempt be made to use the voucher on more than one occasion or should it be misused or used fraudulently, unlawfully or illegally. This includes but is not limited to cancelling or revoking such voucher and terminating the Member’s Air Miles membership. Aimia reserves all its other rights.
11. General Booking Policy for Air Miles Travel Rewards
  • Air Miles Travel rewards include flight tickets, hotel stays, car rentals and activities. These travel rewards can only be redeemed using the Air Miles Mobile App.
  • Bookings can be paid for fully with Air Miles, cash only or with a combination of Air Miles and cash. Any cash amount is payable with a Visa or MasterCard credit card only.
  • Booking prices are quoted based on the best available price across suppliers at the time of booking, for chosen route/destination, class of travel, passenger type, dates and times of travel.  Travel reward prices also vary depending on factors such as how far in advance travel is booked and availability.
  • Bookings are subject to availability and applicable airline, hotel, car rental or activities provider booking policies. In the event of any conflict between the supplier’s booking policies and Air Miles Travel Rewards Terms and Conditions and/or Air Miles Booking Policy, the Air Miles Travel Rewards Terms and Conditions and/or Air Miles Booking Policy shall apply.
  • Air Miles reserves the right to change the pricing, booking fee and minimum spend required for travel rewards at any time without prior notice.
  • Travel rewards can be booked for Members themselves or for another person, provided the traveler/s have the relevant documentation and identification to utilize the booking. Once a booking is made with a registered name, the traveler’s name cannot be changed.
  • Age classification for flight, hotel, car rental and activities bookings are determined by the age of the traveler at the end of the travel period.
  • Dates for all travel bookings must be confirmed at the time of booking.
  • Air Miles acts solely as an agent in arranging travel and has no liability, and will make no refund, in the event of any delay, cancellation, overbooking, strike, force majeure, loss or damage to property or for any other liability.
  • It is the responsibility of the Air Miles Member to review airline baggage allowances, any travel restrictions, warnings, announcements and advisories, prior to making travel arrangements to international destinations.
  • It is the responsibility of the Member to obtain any required visas for entry to the country of destination or connecting destinations by contacting the respective embassy directly. Visa requirements will not be communicated by Air Miles.
  • As health requirements are subject to change without notice, Air Miles recommends that you verify health requirements with the appropriate consulate prior to departure. It is also your responsibility to consult your physician for current recommendations on inoculations before you travel internationally, and to ensure that you meet all health entry requirements and follow all medical guidance related to your trip.
  • By offering Air Miles Travel Rewards, Air Miles does not represent or warrant any travel as advisable or without risk, and as such are not liable for damages or losses that may result from travel to such destinations.
  • Travel insurance is not included in any travel reward redemptions. It is the Members' responsibility to check for eligibility of insurance coverage with their respective insurance companies and/or credit card companies. Air Miles is not responsible for any such claims.
  • Refunds can only be credited to the original payment card used. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of the applicable cancellation fees being paid.
  • Refunds are not available for partially used flight booking tickets, hotel stays, car rentals or activities bookings.
  • For bookings made using Air Miles that have subsequently expired, the expired Miles will be forfeited and not credited back in the event of a cancellation.
  • Failure to travel or cancel travel bookings within the required timeframe will result in the travel booking being forfeited. Forfeited travel bookings are no longer valid and are non-refundable.
  • Air Miles travel rewards bookings can be made by using the Air Miles Mobile App.  In the event of an identified web site outage or technical error, offline bookings may be facilitated for travel within 7 days of the time of booking.  Offline bookings are not a service offered by Air Miles Travel Rewards in any other circumstance.
  • The airlines, hotels, car rental companies and other reward suppliers providing travel or other services are independent contractors and not agents or employees of Air Miles. Air Miles accepts no responsibility for any loss from or related to travel cancellation or delay, loss or damage to luggage or other property, personal accident or sickness suffered while travelling, refund charges or any other circumstances arising from spending of Air Miles outside the control of Air Miles.
  • Air Miles is not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches or negligence of any suppliers.
12. Flight Rewards on Full Service Airlines
  • A minimum spend of 30,000 Air Miles per booking is required.
  • Flight bookings are subject to airline seat availability and applicable fare rules.
  • For flight rewards booked on airlines, flight prices apply for the whole flight ticket and include the airfare, airport taxes (where such taxes are payable at the point of payment), duties and charges (including government and other taxes). They do not include the airport taxes that are payable upon departure or arrival directly at certain airports.
  • Flight reward bookings are subject to an AED 75 booking fee per ticket.
  • Some fares do not include any checked baggage allowance. Passenger may choose to buy the preferred baggage allowance at the time of booking. Please refer to the applicable fares for more information which are available at the time of booking. The current allowances and restrictions for checked Baggage and unchecked Baggage are set out on the airline website and may change from time to time. Excess Baggage -The acceptance and carriage of excess baggage is at the specific airline's discretion and you will be required to pay a charge for the carriage of baggage in excess of your free baggage allowance. For details of the rates applicable to carriage of excess baggage, please refer to the specific airline website.
  • Tickets cannot be redeemed for unaccompanied minors. Tickets can only be redeemed for passengers under the age of 17 if a ticket for an accompanying adult over the age of 17 is being redeemed at the same time. Child and/or infant tickets cannot be booked separately and/or be added on to an existing booking at a later stage.
  • Flight bookings are non-transferable.
  • The maximum number of tickets that can be redeemed per booking is nine (9). However, please note that some airlines may have their own restrictions.
  • Flight reward bookings cannot be booked for open ended tickets. Dates for all flight bookings must be confirmed when making the flight reward booking.
  • We are unable to hold a flight reward booking on a Member’s behalf. Flight reward tickets must be ticketed at the time of booking.
  • In some cases, flight bookings are eligible to collect airline frequent flyer programme points. It is the passengers’ responsibility to contact the airline directly to inquire about eligibility and ensure frequent flyer points are collected from eligible and participating airlines.
  • For flight rewards booked on airlines, date changes, airport changes, re-routing and ticket upgrades are permitted based on airline terms & conditions. The applicable airline fees and Air Miles fees are payable by a Visa or MasterCard credit card only.
  • Each passenger must have a valid passport as part of the flight reward booking process.
  • When making a flight reward booking, the name(s) provided at the time of booking must be the full name of the person(s) travelling, as it appears on their passport.
  • Proof of identity will be required at check-in.
  • Electronic tickets will be issued and sent to the Member’s registered email address.
  • Air Miles is not responsible for the fulfillment of special requests (e.g. meal choices, seat allocation, special assistance). The Member will need to contact the airline directly for all special requests.
  • It is the Members' responsibility to check for updates regarding any changes in flight timings. Air Miles cannot be held responsible for communicating any updates related to flight reward bookings.
13. Hotel Rewards
  • A minimum spend of 14,000 Air Miles per hotel booking is required.
  • Hotel bookings are subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the hotel.
  • Hotel booking prices apply for the room stay only unless specified otherwise at the time of booking. All additional charges are the liability of the primary/lead guest and payable to the hotel directly.
  • Hotel bookings must be booked in the name of the primary/lead guest who should be at least 18 years of age at the time of check-in.
  • Hotel bookings are non-transferable.
  • Only one (1) hotel booking can be made per redemption. The maximum number of rooms that can be booked per redemption is three (3) rooms. The maximum number of occupants that can be booked per room is subject to room restrictions as defined by a specific hotel.
  • A deposit payment may be required by the hotel at the time of check-in. The amount will be determined by the hotel depending on the applicable room rate and the duration of the stay. The deposit payment can be made via credit card or in cash.
  • Expenses incurred during the hotel stay such as telephone charges, pay television, meals (unless specified), laundry, room service, mini bar, tips etc. are additional costs which must be paid directly to the hotel at the time of check-out.
  • Check-in and check-out times are as per the hotel terms and conditions.
  • We are unable to hold a hotel reward booking on a Members behalf. Hotel rewards vouchers will be issued at the time of booking.
  • In some cases, hotel bookings are eligible to collect hotel loyalty programme points. It is the Members' responsibility to contact the hotel directly to inquire about eligibility and ensure loyalty points are collected from eligible and participating hotels.
  • After the hotel booking has been confirmed changes or cancellations can only be made if permitted within the hotel rules of the booking and charges will apply, payable by a Visa or MasterCard credit card only.
  • For all hotel bookings, an amendment request will require a cancellation of the original booking and submitting an entirely new online booking by the Member. In these circumstances, rates and room availability will be subject to hotel inventory rules applicable for the period. We will make good faith efforts to secure the same rates, but this cannot be guaranteed.
  • A valid photo identification will be required at the time of check-in for each occupant of a hotel room booking.
  • Hotel booking confirmation and voucher will be issued and sent to the Member email address registered with Air Miles.
  • Special requests (e.g. bed type, honeymoon/anniversary, room location, early check-in, late check-out etc.) should be requested with the hotel directly and are subject to availability at the time of check in and at the hotel discretion. Air Miles and/or the hotel cannot confirm these concessions at the time of booking.
  • It is the Members' responsibility to provide the hotel with updates regarding any changes in check-in timing, should they occur.
14. Car Rental Rewards
  • A minimum spend of 14,000 Air Miles per booking is required.
  • Car Rental bookings are subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the supplier. These include the possession of a valid driver's license, the satisfaction of minimum age requirements and the making of arrangements with respect to payment of a security deposit and any additional charges. The rental party must satisfy all rental qualifications and requirements at the time of pick-up.
  • Car rental booking prices include the cost of the vehicle rental and exclude any additional charges such as a security deposit, fuel, excess mileage, taxes, insurance, government and other surcharges, which are payable directly to the car rental company.
  • The main driver must satisfy the minimum age requirement of the car rental company - for most car hire companies; the age requirement is between 21 and 70 years old. Drivers under 25 or over 70, may be required to pay an additional fee, plus taxes.
  • Car rental bookings are non-transferable.
  • Only one (1) car rental booking can be made per redemption.
  • A deposit payment will be required by the supplier at the time of pick-up. For some car rental companies, this amount will be made known at the car hire counter. The main driver must be in a possession of a credit card in their own name when picking up the car. The credit card must have enough available funds to cover the excesses/deposits amount (which will be blocked on the card for the duration of the rental). The credit card will also be required to pay for local fees, extra equipment and anything purchased additionally at the car hire counter. Cash and debit cards are not accepted. Drivers are responsible for all toll fees, congestion charges, speeding tickets, parking fines and traffic fines - and all associated administration costs.
  • Pick-up and drop-off times are defined upon booking and car availability was selected and booked accordingly. Your rental vehicle is usually available for pick up to half an hour early, but this cannot be guaranteed. Any changes to pick-up/drop-off time are subject to availability - if these changes known in advance, this may require a booking amendment subject to rates, availability and change fees.
  • We are unable to hold a car rental reward booking on a Member’s behalf. Car rewards vouchers will be issued at the time of booking.
  • In some cases, car rental bookings are eligible to collect car rental loyalty programme points. It is the Members' responsibility to contact the supplier directly to inquire about eligibility and ensure loyalty points are collected from eligible and participating car rental companies.
  • After the car rental booking has been confirmed, changes or cancellations can only be made if permitted within the car rules of the booking and charges will apply, by a Visa or MasterCard credit card only. 
    Any bookings with less than 48 hours to pick-up time are non-refundable.
  • For some car rental suppliers, an amendment request will require a cancellation of the original booking and submitting an entirely new online booking by the Member. In these circumstances, rates and car availability will be subject to car inventory rules applicable for the period. We will make good faith efforts to secure the same rates, but this cannot be guaranteed.
  • The main driver and any additional drivers will need to provide a valid driving license in their name. An international driving license may be required. A passport or identity card will also be required at the rental counter.
  • Car rental confirmation and voucher will be issued and sent to the Member email address registered with Air Miles.
  • Special requests should be requested directly with car rental provider and are subject to availability at the time of pick-up and at the car rental provider discretion.
  • It is the Members' responsibility to provide the car rental company with updates regarding any changes in pick-up timings, should they occur.
15. Activity Rewards
  • A minimum spend of 7,000 Air Miles per booking is required.
  • Activity bookings are subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the Activities supplier.
  • The price of each Product will be quoted on a per-person basis, unless otherwise specified.
  • Prices are based on the local tariff at the time of quoting, converted at the prevailing foreign-exchange rate as determined by Air Miles. Price quotations are subject to change without notice, until a booking has been made.
  • Inclusions are determined by the supplier. Prices do not include tips/gratuities; passport and visa fees; baggage and personal insurance; any items of a personal nature; taxes or duties; and food and beverages are not included unless specifically stated otherwise by the supplier.
  • By making a booking, you warrant that you are at least 18 years of age, that you possess the legal authority to enter into both this binding agreement and a binding agreement with the upplier, to use the Services, to purchase the Product, and that all information you supply is true and accurate. You further agree that you will use the Platform to make only legitimate Bookings for you and/or others for whom you are legally authorized to act.
  • Activities bookings are non-transferable.
  • Only one (1) activity booking can be made per redemption.
  • Unless the upplier has otherwise specified, prices do not include any local taxes or use-fees, including foreign departure, security, port charges, park fees, customs, immigration, agricultural, passenger-facility charges or international transportation tax.
  • Timings of the activity booked are calculated in accordance with the time zone of the Experience.
  • We are unable to hold an activity reward booking on a Member’s behalf. Activity reward vouchers will be issued at the time of booking.
  • In some cases, activity bookings are eligible to collect activity loyalty programme points. It is the Members' responsibility to contact the activity/tour/experience venue directly to enquire about eligibility and ensure loyalty points are collected from eligible and participating activity/tour/experience venue.
  • Once an activity has been booked and purchased, your booking cannot be changed or cancelled with a refund.
  • A valid photo identification will be required at the time of check-in for each participant of an activities booking.
  • An activity booking confirmation and voucher will be issued and sent to the Member's email address registered with Air Miles.
  • Special requests should be requested directly with activities provider and are subject to availability and at the activity provider discretion.
  • It is the Members' responsibility to provide the activity company with updates regarding any changes in pick-up timings, should they occur.
16. Amendments and Cancellations on Flight Bookings
Amendments and cancellations can only be made if permitted within the terms and conditions of the travel booking from the airline. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your booking, please contact the Air Miles Travel Support Team as early as possible. If you do not cancel in advance you may also incur a “no-show” fee in addition to any other supplier fees charged.
  • Fare rules should be checked at the time of booking.  Please refer to the full terms and conditions of the airline which can be found before you submit your booking.
  • Amendments and cancellations must be made by calling the Air Miles Travel Support Team, between 9am and 6pm UAE time, Monday to Friday, and at least one working day prior to date of flight departure.
  • If amendments or cancellations are made directly with the airline, Air Miles will be unable to subsequently change, cancel or refund your booking.
  • An amendment fee of AED 200 applies to each amendment, per passenger, for flight bookings paid using Air Miles only, Air Miles + Cash or Cash only. This fee is in addition to any fees applied by the applicable airline. 
  • A cancellation fee of AED 200 applies to each cancellation, per passenger, for flight bookings paid using Air Miles only, Air Miles + Cash or Cash only. This fee is in addition to any fees applied by the applicable airline. 
  • Refunds can only be credited to the original payment card used. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of the applicable cancellation fees being paid.
  • Any amendment or cancellation fees imposed by the flight provider must be paid by a Visa or MasterCard credit card only.
  • For flight rewards booked on full service airlines, date changes, airport changes, re-routing and ticket upgrades are permitted. The applicable airline fees and Air Miles fees are payable by a Visa or MasterCard credit card only.
  • In instances where amendments result in a higher price, customers must pay the additional cost as money with a Visa or MasterCard credit card only.  In instances where amendments result in a lower price, a refund will be provided.
  • In the event of any permitted cancellations, all applicable cancellation fees must be paid with a Visa or MasterCard credit card prior to any refund being provided.
  • For bookings made using Air Miles that have subsequently expired, the expired Miles will be forfeited and not credited back in the event of a cancellation.
  • Failure to travel or cancel a travel reward booking within the required timeframe will result in the travel booking being forfeited. Forfeited travel bookings are no longer valid and are non- refundable.
  • Refunds are not available for partially used flight booking tickets, hotel stays, car rentals or activities.
  • Air Miles accepts no responsibility for any loss from or related to travel cancellation or delay, loss or damage to luggage or other property, personal accident or sickness suffered while travelling, refund charges or any other circumstances arising from spending of Air Miles outside the control of Air Miles. The airlines, hotels, car rental and other reward suppliers providing travel or other services are independent contractors and not agents or employees of Air Miles.
  • Air Miles acts solely as an agent in arranging travel and has no liability and will make no refund in the event of any delay, cancellation, overbooking, strike, force majeure, loss or damage to property or for any other liabilty.
17. Amendments and Cancellations on Hotel Bookings
  • Amendments and cancellations can only be made if permitted within the terms and conditions of the booking as specified by the hotel. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your booking, please contact the Air Miles Travel Support Team as early as possible.   If you do not cancel in advance you may also incur a “no-show” fee in addition to any other supplier fees charged.  The supplier cancellation fees are detailed in your booking voucher.
  • All hotel booking amendments are treated as a cancellation and will require a new booking to be made online.
  • Hotel cancellation rules should be checked at the time of booking.  Please refer to the terms and conditions before you submit your booking.
  • Cancellations must be made by calling the Air Miles Travel Support Team, between 9am and 6pm UAE time, Monday to Friday, and at least one working day prior to date of check-in date.
  • If amendments or cancellations are made directly with the hotel, Air Miles will be unable to subsequently change, cancel or refund your booking.
  • An amendment fee of AED 200 applies to each amendment, for hotel bookings paid using Air Miles only or Air Miles + cash and Cash only. This fee is in addition to any fees imposed by the hotel. (Bookings made from midnight 1st Feb 2023 will be subject to these fees).

20. Air Miles Issuance on Travel Bookings
  • Members can earn Air Miles on the credit card payment of your travel bookings by using their HSBC credit card. 
  • Air Miles related to credit card payments/cash elements of your travel bookings will be credited to your account approximately 90 days after you have completed your travel.
  • For flight bookings, both outbound and inbound (if any) parts of your trip will be credited as one transaction into your Air Miles account and 90 days after you have completed your travel.
  • For hotel, car and activities bookings, you will receive the applicable Air Miles 90 days following your check-out date.
  • Air Miles earned on credit card payments/cash elements will be computed on the final credit card payment made but will not include the Air Miles amendment or booking fee component of the payment.
  • Air Miles related to any credit card payments will only be awarded if you have completed your travel. They will not be awarded for cancelled, no-show or voided bookings.
  • Air Miles issued related to credit card payments/cash paid element of travel bookings will be valid from process date and will have a validity period of 3 years.
21. Air Miles Exchange
Air Miles Exchange facilitates the exchange of Members’ Air Miles into the loyalty currency of pre-selected Air Miles partners, currently Emirates Skywards and Etihad Guest.  The transfer is completed by using the Air Miles Mobile App  and once credited, the partner currency can then be used in accordance with the applicable partner programme rules of use and T&C’s.

Aimia has entered an arrangement with Points.com to enable Members to exchange their Air Miles for eligible partner programmes via Points.com.Inc, an Ontario incorporated in Ontario, Canada. Each exchange transfer is subject to a minimum transfer of 30,000 Air Miles. Any additional Air Miles to be transferred must be in increments of 1,000 Air Miles.   Air Miles will be transferred to the participating partner programme currency at the rate specified at the time of transfer. The transfer rate is subject to change at any time with or without prior notice.

22. Qatar Airways Privilege Club Exchange
Air Miles facilitates the exchange of Air Miles into the Qatar Airways Privilege Club loyalty currency.  The transfer is completed by using the Air Miles Mobile App  and once credited, the partner currency can then be used in accordance with the partner programme rules of use and T&C’s.  

Each exchange transfer is subject to a minimum of transfer of 48,000 Air Miles. Any additional Air Miles to be transferred must be in increments of 48,000.  Air Miles will be transferred to the participating partner programme currency at the rate specified at the time of transfer. The transfer rate is subject to change at any time with or without prior notice.
23. Prize Draws and Competitions
Prize draws and/or competitions may be available to Members of the Air Miles Programme from time to time. All prize draws and competitions are subject to specific terms and conditions governing each prize draw or competition, which will be made available to Members prior to entry. Where prize draws or competitions are advertised on Facebook and/or Instagram by entering you are agreeing that if you are a winner your name and the last four digits of your Air Miles Prgram membership number may be published on such sites.  

For Prize Draws, all Members with qualifying entry(ies) will be tabulated and winner(s) will be selected by computer generated randomization. The winning Member(s) will be contacted by phone or e-mail to the contact details registered by the Member and must collect their prize within 30 days (unless otherwise specified) of notification. If the prize is not collected, the prize will be forfeited, and a new winner will be selected (if applicable).  Any winning entrants who are not contactable via the information they provided or via reasonable means may be disqualified and an alternative entrant awarded the prize on the same basis as is described above. The results of the prize draw are final. Prizes are non-transferable. There will be no cash prize alternative.  Air Miles reserves the right to substitute the prize with any other prize of the same value.  In order to receive the prize, the Air Miles Member must supply documented evidence of their identity to an Air Miles representative at the time of prize collection.

Air Miles reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any person it suspects to be acting or has acted in violation of these Terms and Conditions. Staff of Aimia Middle East FZ-LLC and affiliated companies, and their immediate family members, as well as agents and third parties involved in any way with the administration of prize draws or competitions are not eligible to participate.
24. Opting Out for marketing communications
If you do not wish to receive marketing or promotional communications, you may update your communication preference through the Air Miles Mobile App. Your ability to collect or spend Air Miles will not be affected.

Once opted out/unsubscribed, it will take up to 30 working days to process your request and you will not be notified of any special offers or promotions.
25. Miscellaneous
Applicable Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai, UAE. Any disputes shall be submitted to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai UAE.
No Waiver
Any failure by us to take any action in respect of a breach of these terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver of their enforceability. We can still enforce it later. Aimia always reserves its rights in respect of these terms and conditions.
Severance
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid by any court having competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions which shall remain in full force and effect.
Assignment
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms and conditions to another organisation.  Members accounts are personal and may not be transferred to anyone else save as set out in section 2 (Household Account), Section 6 (Transfer) above.
Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any delay in performing, or failure to perform, any of its obligations under these terms and conditions if such delay or failure result from events, circumstances or causes beyond our reasonable control.

Overview of Exchange Services
The Exchange Services allow you to exchange Air Miles for the loyalty currency of various eligible Partner Programmes as established by Air Miles and Aimia. For us to exchange your Air Miles for the loyalty currency of the eligible Partner Programme that you have selected, you may be required to provide certain information from time to time.  This information enables us to redeem your Air Miles and exchange it for loyalty currency of the eligible Partner Programme that you have selected and securely deposit such loyalty currency in your Partner Programme account.  Although we make reasonable efforts to ensure that the loyalty currency deposited to your Partner Programme account are accurate, we cannot ensure that this will always be the case and hereby disclaims liability for the accuracy of such deposits.  Please note that you may use the Exchange Services for personal purposes only and not for any business, commercial or other use.
Terms of Exchange Offer
  1. You must opt in for the offer to redeem your Air Miles and exchange it for loyalty currency of the participating Partner Programme that you have selected, in accordance with the offer terms of the exchange offer established by Air Miles as specified herein at https://www.airmilesme.com/en-ae/tnc and in the XXXX [Section] of the Air Miles Mobile App www.airmilesme.com.  The selection of participating Partner Programmes is at our sole discretion and subject to change without prior notice.
  2. Exchange Services, including terms applicable to the loyalty currency of the participating Partner Program that you have selected, are also subject to the terms and conditions imposed by such Partner Programme.  Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you must have a valid account with the participating Partner Programme that you which wish to transfer your Air Miles to, and you may be required to provide certain information as requested. It is your responsibility to provide correct and valid account membership information. We will not be liable for any Air Miles transferred based on inaccurate or incomplete information provided to us.
  3. Each exchange transfer is subject to a minimum of 30,000 Air Miles to be transferred, and any additional Air Miles to be transferred must be in increments of 1,000.  Air Miles shall determine the amount of loyalty currency you will be entitled to receive in the eligible Partner Programme you have selected in exchange for your Air Miles.  Air Miles will be transferred to the participating Partner Programme currency at the rate specified at the time of transfer. The transfer rate is subject to change at any time with or without prior notice.  Upon submission of your transfer request, the transferred Air Miles will immediately be deducted from your Air Miles account.  A submitted request to transfer Air Miles is final and cannot be modified or cancelled. As such, the Air Miles in a submitted request cannot be returned to your Air Miles account. Transfers cannot be combined or used with any other offer unless otherwise stated. You acknowledge that Points.com is not responsible for the foregoing terms applicable to your eligible exchange transactions.
  4. Please allow up to two (2) weeks after the date of your exchange transaction for the loyalty currency of the eligible Partner Programme that you have selected to be deposited in your Partner Programme account.  You are solely responsible for checking your Partner Programme account to verify that such loyalty currency has been properly posted. If you believe that loyalty currency of the eligible Partner Programme have not been properly posted to your Partner Programme account, you must inform Air Miles within six (6) months of the date of the exchange transaction, with proof of action acceptable to Air Miles and Points.com. You agree that we shall determine, in our sole discretion, whether loyalty currency of the eligible Partner Programme should have been posted to your Partner Programme account, and that any such determination shall be final and binding.
  5. This exchange offer may not be combined or used in conjunction with any other offer, unless otherwise stated.
  6. This exchange offer may be canceled, modified or withdrawn at any time, even after acceptance by you.
  7. You consent to receive communications from us electronically regarding an exchange transaction. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices through the Exchange Services or the Air Miles Programme. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications provided to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
  8. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REVIEW, CANCEL AND REVERSE ANY EXCHANGE TRANSACTION IN THE EVENT OF FRAUD OR AN ERROR OR MISTAKE MADE BY US, OR ANY PARTNER PROGRAMME, INCLUDING ERRORS IN ANY LOYALTY POINT CONVERSION, REDEMPTION OR SWAP RATE.  YOU HEREBY CONSENT TO THE REMOVAL OF CONVERTED LOYALTY CURRENCY FROM YOUR PARTNER PROGRAMME ACCOUNT AS REQUIRED BY US, OR ANY PARTNER PROGRAMME IN ORDER TO REVERSE A CANCELLED OR REVERSED TRANSACTION.
  9. You agree to comply with the terms, conditions and rules of the Air Miles Programme established by Aimia including as found in the  Air Miles Mobile App.
Misprints and Errors
We endeavor to provide current and accurate information through the Exchange Services regarding the offers and transactions available to you. Nevertheless, errors and misprints occur. Accordingly, we reserve the right to reject, correct, cancel or terminate any transaction for which the offer details were incorrectly displayed or for which any other erroneous or inaccurate information was provided. We reserve the right to do this at any time during the transaction process, including after a transaction has been submitted and even if the transaction has been confirmed by us. Under no circumstances are we obligated to process or complete any transaction based on any error, misprint or otherwise.

All materials and content included as part and parcel of the Exchange Services (collectively the "Content"), including, without limitation, text, data, information, images, illustrations, audio clips, video clips, special games, surveys and special promotions, are protected by intellectual property rights owned and controlled by us and/or our suppliers or partners. None of the Content may be copied, downloaded, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed in any way without our prior written consent or except as specifically permitted through the Exchange Services. Use of the Content for any purpose other than your own personal and non-commercial use is prohibited and is a violation of copyrights and other intellectual property rights.

The trademarks, logos and service marks that you see when accessing the Exchange Services are owned and controlled by us and/or our suppliers or partners. Nothing herein grants you any license or right to use any such marks or logos. Your misuse of any such marks or logos is strictly prohibited and is a violation of copyrights and other intellectual property rights.

Termination
We may terminate your right to use of the Exchange Services immediately, without notice to you, if, in our sole discretion, you fail to comply with any of these Terms and Conditions of use or engage in any fraudulent, criminal or other unauthorized activity.
Governing Law and Disputes
Your use of the Exchange Services is governed exclusively by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada notwithstanding any principles of conflicts of law. To the extent permitted by applicable law, any claim, dispute or controversy between you and Points.com shall be determined by final and binding arbitration, with no right of appeal, even on questions of law. Such arbitration will be conducted in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in the English language pursuant to the National Arbitration Rules of the ADR Institute of Canada. If the foregoing arbitration is not permitted by applicable law or any court with jurisdiction, you irrevocably agree that all claims, disputes or controversies shall be settled exclusively by the courts of the Province of Ontario.

Limitation of Liability

Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us, our affiliates, and our partners and suppliers, and each such entity's respective officers, directors, employees, and agents) harmless from any claim or demand made against any of them by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Exchange Services, breach of this Agreement or the documents it incorporates by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party, including intellectual property rights.
Entire Agreement, Waiver and Severability
The terms relating to the Exchange Services, together with any applicable transaction request and confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and us with respect to your use of the Exchange Services and the processing of any transactions thereon and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements or understandings, if any, whether written or oral, relating to such subject matter. No modification, amendment or waiver of this Agreement shall be effective or binding unless made in writing and signed by us. If any of the provisions of this Agreement shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provision.
Force Majeure
We shall have no liability for delays or failure in performance caused by any act of God, war, strike, labor dispute, work stoppage, fire, act of government, or any other cause, whether similar or dissimilar, beyond our control.
Use of the Term "Partner"
The use of terms "partner" or “partnership” herein and in any other materials is not intended to indicate that Points.com, Air Miles or Aimia is in a legal partnership with any third party so described. Rather, the term is used in a marketing sense to show participation by the "partners" in Points.com products and services.
